Honeyed note, as expected. The proof acts as a balance, warming throughout the palate. Strong vanilla flavor, with some neutral vegetal aspects. Salty. Splenda sweet instead of sugar. Not rough, but seemingly potent proofing that does not leave, even minutes later. Astringent, but otherwise smooth.
Revisited. Just can't get into this one that much. Very flat and vegetal and too "hot" considering other offerings at barrel proof. Kinda tastes like freshly stripped bamboo and hay mixed with what I imagine to be a pencil - bland wood + graphite. Not sure what that means. Dropping rating to 2 stars. Not for me.

@bigwhitemike I think I have already resigned myself to dumping some in the infinity bottle and the rest into Old Fashioned or Manhattan's!
@dubz480 agree... I wish it was better but just don’t enjoy it. I’ll give it one more shot by proofing it down to 90 just like regular MM, but the flavors in my bottle just steel harsh. Otherwise will hide it in some cocktails and say goodbye.
Glad it's not just me! I don't understand all the love this one get's. Even with the $44 I paid it feels like a rip off!
