Fantastic and unusual, accomplished but not without its flaws. The nose is pleasant with aromas of peat, smoke, salt, and what appears to be lemons - it's both subtle and complex at the same time. The palate and body is rich and full, a continuation of the nose's aromatic notes. It all works wonderfully together towards a finish that has depth and length. I really enjoy it.

One of my favorites. Not a typical Laphroaig but beautiful in its own right.
I think if you approach it with the preconceived idea that you're going to find something that is uncharacteristic versus the other core expressions, you'll come away pleased. Let me know the day you try it.
I bought 2 bottles a while ago and have yet to open one. I've heard some bad things about it. People saying it's weak and un-Laphroaig like. One day I will find out for myself
