If Kilchoman were a haunted house, this whisky would be the long forgotten bag of cough drops in its medicine cabinet.

@ Telex and @ PB Michigan Wolverine : Thanks for the suggestion. I will look into getting a sample of the Loch Gorm.
Agreed with Telex----give Loch Gorm a try. Really well crafted
Definitely give the Loch Gorm a look-see. I think it'll change your overall opinion of the distillery.
@ Dreaming of Islay : I actually love the Ardbeg 10. The medium-level of peat, smoke, stewed pears, light lemon notes and gentle oak play really well together. However, with the exception of the Sanaig (which I absolutely loved), I found Kilchoman whiskys I have tried to be medicinal, rubbery, and unbalanced. Maybe it's the flavour profile they're intending, and I'm sure many people taste it differently. All in all, I respect Kilchoman for opening up an authentic, homegrown distillery that is true to the land, waters and barley of Islay. They got their own thing going... I just can't appreciate the taste [shutters].
LOLLLLLLLLLLLLL
😂
Entertaining review!
I loved the 2016 rendition of this line, but always enjoy hearing other perspectives. Are you an Ardbeg 10 fan? This one felt to me like a slightly less peated Ardbeg 10.
