This is not a subtle-smelling liquer, it's a cherry lollipop with a hint of whiskey. I tried this because I like when I get black cherry notes in my bourbon, and I like the Beam profile, but this isn't infused as much as it is dominated by the flavoring. You stil get a flash of Beam at the end, but mostly this tastes like cough syrup; I don't mean that in a bad way, but this is probably best left for mixed drinks. 4/28/17
