Tastes

Bottled Summer 2021. Nose is very fruity, almost sour but not in a bad way. Palate is smooth with tingling spice. Sweet, fruit, some cinnamon, leather, and a tea note on the finish. Slightly thin but that's to be expected. I haven't liked previous iterations but this one is good. 7/14/22.

Smells sweet and floral, some marmalade. Palate is interesting, lots going on. Mint. Sweetness carries over. Some herbal hints, a bit of saltwater taffy. Apples at the end. Good heat. 5/15/21

Fruity nose, full, almost creamy. Creamy on the palate, with ice tea notes. Nice spice, warm finish. Leather, sweetness, white pepper. Some bitterness on the finish. 2/19/21

Smells like Tang and orange juice and I mean that in a good way. Tastes like an orange creamsicle. I thought I would hate the orange but this is pretty good, the base bourbon is good and this is unique in a good way. Good dessert drink. 1/17/21

Great nose, including a bit of bananas foster. On the palates a kick of spice, which lingers throughout, the hint of banana is there, and a pleasant floral, perfume note at the end. Mild cacao nibs. 1/17/21

Batch 6. Great nose. Smells like bourbon. Slight oak and herbs. On the palate, sweet tea, nice spice that lingers a looooong time. Less bitter than Batch 5. Fantastic. 1/8/21

Smells almost like a bourbon. Great nose. After a while the Rye notes come out. On the palate, sweet tea on the front. Complex, ends with a dark bitter chocolate note. Long finish, nice warmth. 1/8/21

Creamy nose, with some bloody mary... tastes like a pizza box. Not offensive, but reminds me of cardboard, with some floral notes. 1/8/21
