Definitely a scotch that needs water - 10-15% additional to pour. Otherwise nose and taste are too difficult to appreciate. It's been neat experimenting with different amount of water added. Don't let it sit too long...the water will separate from the scotch (never seen that before this one).
Color is attractive deep golden. Nose on the sweet side (honey, berries). Even with water still pretty thick (which I love). Floral, sweet and full-bodied. The syrupy texture helps to sit on middle of tongue well into the finish.
This is a damn fine scotch! My second cask strength ever.
