I was in Phoenix this past week, and was astonished to see this on the shelf at the hotel bar. Unopened and just sitting there. At $15 /Dram , I gave it a go. It's light and floral, well balanced...almost a cross between an elegant Speysider and Hibiki 17. I think it's a west coast only item, but if you're a fan of Hibiki 12 or 17, this is a worthwhile taste. Not sure I'd buy a bottle (I checked online...quite expensive), but I'm glad I tried a small amount.

@PBMichiganWolverine So true. For me, the pendulum even swings back & forth during the same bottle
@SolanaRoots how tastes change. I think this was years ago, when it first came out. Liked it then, not so much it many years later.
@PBMichiganWolverine On par with Hibiki 17? That’s a lofty compliment! Thought I recall you saying this one was a bit odd & not up your alley
@SolanaRoots No, not yet. Trying to be more disciplined about finishing bottles before opening new ones!
Hey @Richard-ModernDrinking - did you ever open your bottle of this? Curious to hear thoughts. Cheers
It is---definately good, I'd say on par with Hibiki 17. They somehow managed to Hibiki's profile in a young offering.
Nice to hear. I picked up a bottle a couple of weeks ago for $150. Not sure what I was thinking but good to know it's not just a pretty label.
