Green Spot Single Pot Still
Single Pot Still — Ireland
Reviewed

Using a combination of malted and unmalted barley, Green Spot is a prime example of traditional, triple distilled Irish single pot still whiskey. Sweet apple pie, freshly cut grass and cereals feature prominently on the nose, and there are hints of pineapple, avocado and burnt cookies. After a light and floral arrival, the taste develops more grainy and yeasty with peach juice, fine spices and a touch of lemongrass. It's a bit thin and watery at times. The finish is moderate but altogether pleasant with mild oak, vanilla and licorice. This stuff is dangerously drinkable!
