Very sweet nose, more of a bite than the scotch whiskeys I've tried. I can taste the corn base. Not very smokey. Adding a drop of water to it really opens it up. Notes of vanilla , caramel, salt, and fruit are much more apparent, where before it was more a cloying sweetness. It's aged well. A smoother sweetness- caramel and toffee blend with spices. Nicer finish too.
