Yesterday I had the chance to compare the bottom of a bottle of this beauty with a brand new one. There was quite a difference between the two. The old one was good but had lost some of his palate. You had a stronger cigar and leather taste at first, followed by a ''gap'' between the first taste and the smoky finish. The new one had the same taste but the gap was filled by honey. It had more oil and sweetness. With those mixing with the cigar and leather at first, it was a well balanced scotch. The cigar and leather were also more subtle since the sweet and the oil were mixing with them. 4.25/5 (For the new bottle ;) )
