Nose: smoky bacon, citrus and sherry.
Taste: smoky upfront, vanilla, citrus and mouthwatering sherry sweetness with a faint pepper note.
Finish: long pleasant oaky finish.
All in all a great dram. I don't smell the salty character told to it but it fills the shoes to be an introduction to islay single malts brilliantly.
