Absolutely delicious, with orange rinds and berries on the nose. The palate is winey and briny in a way that is unpredictably satisfying, with a finish that is long and balanced.
Worth your try.

I'm trying not to buy to many bottles this year. In fact its been a few months since I have...but in the end I caved and bought one of these and the Hazelburn 13 olorossos as I saw the last few on the shelves here in NZ. This was a great drop and limited edition which really kills your will power not to buy!
This one has my crosshairs all over it. I can’t wait to push the button.
Douro valley---so yeah, red wine from Portugal. But that doesn't say much, since Douro valley wines can be light Burgundy style to robust Bordeaux style.
It looks like it's Portuguese wine, but not "Port" wine.
I'm kicking myself for missing that Kilchoman tasting.
From a technical standpoint, I do not. From a flavor standpoint, I would guess from the wine Jesus miraculously created out of water.
Sounds great. Any idea what kind of wine was in those casks?
