A strong sherry presence, with almonds, cooked raisins, and cinnamon on the nose. The palate is quite whiny though not a "sherry bomb", with a syrupy texture and full body. There's wood spices and a touch of oak on the finish, with an aftertaste that is quite long.
Very similar to the Glendronach 21 Parliament.

@JOE_C Do you know if you had the old "all 1st fill ex-Sherry European oak" or the new one?
@Soba45 A little bit of both, truthfully. I'm currently on a work project that pretty much has me working around the clock. BUT, I still have 83 samples I gotta go through at some point AND 55 reviews I gotta post on Distiller. So... I shall be back my friend. 😊
@Joe_C Hey hows things? Been quiet for a while..resting your liver or fingers? :-)
@Soba45 agreed
@Dram-in-Japan Parliament by a nose. Richer deeper more complex. Not much in it :-)
Which did you prefer this or the parliament and why?
Good to hear as I've been sitting on a bottle for a long time now. one day I'll crack it open :-)
