Toasted cereal, caramel and hints of white wine on the nose. Very warm and medium bodied, it delivers a pleasant taste of shortbread over the palate. The finish is relatively short and dry. This single grain doesn't pack a whole lot of flavour, but it is certainly not a bad dram. As others have suggested, letting it sit out in the glass for a few minutes helps tone down the heat and bite.
