Nose: Sherry, ripe apple, and vanilla followed by honey and raisins. More complex than I expected it to be.
Palate: sherry sweetness and exquisite fruitiness are bold at the front. oakiness heats up in the middle as the fruity flavors grow richer. Some spice and nuttiness kicks in at the end with a medium dry finish.
A lighter/medium bodied whisky with a honey color and a silky mouthfeel.
An absolutely delightful Highland single malt!
