One of the first bourbons I got hooked on. At 100 proof, she has got some heat. Very spicy; black and red pepper, with mace provide a good burn. I find myself checking the bottle to make sure I haven't picked up their rye by mistake. Some nuttier notes appear once the initial burn has subsided, which leave a slight sweetness that round out this bourbon well. The burn never fully disappears though. Nonetheless, it still has a clean finish. For the price, I buy this one with some regularity.
