Aberlour A’Bundah
Batch 53 59.7ABv
Dark amber color. Full bodied with a rich velvety mouthfeel.
Nose: milk chocolate and sea salt caramel. Ripe red apples and toasted pecans. Dates and molasses. An indulgent and dessert-like aroma.
Palate: Sea salt caramel and rich milk chocolate lead the way almost melting in your mouth. The whisky’s cask strength shows in the middle as the flavor heats up toward a big conclusion. The sweet fruit character also increases. The finish is big, bold, warming, and fruity. A swirl of fruit, molasses, and chocolate finish out big.
The finish leaves a delightful taste of toasted pecans, dates, and a little caramel.
WOW. 4.6/5 or 5/5 here.
Absolutely fantastic. The best Speyside I’ve sipped.
