Kilchoman Loch Gorm (2015 Edition)
Single Malt — Islay, Scotland

Gentle peat smoke and sea salt immediately noticeable on nosing , joined by notes of currents or raisins followed by lavender and nuts when a few drops of water were added. The flavors were sweet berries or plums, smoked salmon and salted butter. The peat smoke is present but not intrusive. Drinks older than it is.

"Drinks older than it is" - I completely agree. Bought me one of these this year at the distillery and it's already one of my favorite Islay's. Highly recommended.
