I don't know about 93, and truthfully I enjoyed this less than my 3 friends during a blind tasting, but it was still enjoyable. There's toasted barley, walnut and stewed fruit on the nose - the sherry influence is obvious on first whiff. The palate has a touch of oak with cacao nibs and tobacco on the finish. The high ABV is subtle here, and it adds pleasant weight and complexity to this whisky, but there's no wow factor. Still... Enjoyable. Cheers!
