Clear butterscotch color there is a woodsy and berry sweetness on the nose. There is a moderate body, licorice and caramel leading to clove and some peppery spice to let you know this is a rye whiskey. This is a good value rye whiskey from Jim Beam, remember this is not a Rittenhouse rye but it is a good rye whiskey nonetheless, and much easier to find.
