Tequila Blanco — Mexico

When you pay big money, you expect big things. I must admit, I was very dissatisfied with this highly touted tequila. Based on the ratings on Distiller, many others apparently share my opinion. Maybe it is the “modern method” used to create this beverage that makes it fall short of expectations? All I know is it left me wanting to sample something else. May I suggest Casa Dragones Sipping Joven? It is so much better.

Avoid Casa Dragones as it’s diffuser made. When I tried joven I thought it was good but not on the level of others like clase azul, don Julio 1942, Reserva de la familia, Rey sol, Etc as I felt something was off and this was before I knew much about the diffuser method and once I learned more about the diffuser method I can see why casa dragones wasn’t on the level of the others I listed.
