Nose: Dominant grain sharpness, honey and a little bit of apple.
Palate: Honey and vanilla that turns into water, but comes back with a burst of barrel spice. Tastes thin.
Finish: short, thin.
I buy this to make Irish coffee, and that’s pretty much it. It’s less complicated and more obtrusive than budget Jameson; get that instead if you want the cheapest Irish you can get. But honestly, spend a few more dollars and get Red/Black Bush or Jameson Caskmates; the difference is night and day.
