Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland

Finally found an affordable bottle, under $60, normally $80-90 in my area (read: shamefully overpriced).
NOSE:
Dry malt
Floral ginger
Blueberry preserves
Sandalwood
Gentle wisps of sweet woody smoke
PALATE:
Warm & inviting
Dry citrus
Hints of sweet star anise
FINISH:
Sharp woody spices
Dry breakfast cereal
Just a waft of smoke passes again
A detectably high quality dram, but a bit lacking in distinct character or individuality.
Dry Glass: Triple-milled bar soap.
