Changing my opinion: pretty creamy. Palate gets interesting with near-spice domination. fading into the finish, picks up tobacco, caramel and sweet corn. Afertaste likewise is unremarkable. Had a variety of experiences. This rye seems quite susceptible to the effects of time and adding water. Not relegated to cocktail bar--this is growing on me!
