Nose: very sweet, light peat, honey, slightly astringent
Palate: smooth mouthfeel, light peat, sweet, slightly astringent
Finish: medium short length, mild spice, a little bit of sweetness
A good scotch. Not as intense or complex as it’s older siblings, but still very enjoyable. Not as much sherry or oak influence as the older highland park offerings. Some similarities to a blended scotch, which is unusual for a single malt. I suspect this is because it is young.
