Bright nose with some alcohol, but not as much as the Old Forester Statesman. Some citrus notes in the mouth while tasting the nose. Warm caramel and vanilla. Expands slowly. Medium body. Quite smooth. Slight spiciness when chewing, but very little burn. Nice lingering flavor highlighted with caramel and toasted oak flavors. Good finish length in the back of the mouth.
