Had this after fish & chips dinner so senses make be askew. That said immediate nose was isopropyl alcohol. Not what I expected or wanted! Gave it a sip and things started returning to normal. After regrouping my senses, it has a nice fullness. If you recall the caramel bullseye candys, that is the sensory memory being triggered for me. If not, I can best describe as a creamy caramel. A bit more bite than the red spot, although they are the same proof. I'm pleased with each of the green spot, yellow spot, and red spot offerings. They each are distinct but well worth sipping and enjoying time together with friends. The Kettle Black Kitchen & Pub

Smooth nose with apple and plum notes. While some fruit on the nose, it is not an overpowering sweet or fruity nose. Mouth feel is nice with a distinct oak pop settling into more cherry finish. Very smooth - I expected it to be 80 proof and was surprised it was 92. I prefer neat, and would not recommend watering this down. Very nice sipper as it is.The Kettle Black Kitchen & Pub

Boone County Eighteen33 12 Year (Discontinued)
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed December 22, 2020 (edited May 18, 2021)I got maple syrup the first couple tastes. Sweeter, with a warmth, but no much burn. Front and roof of mouth. Read another review that called out cinnamon - I get that now. -
First whiff I got peanut butter which I didn't expect and looked around my friend's kitchen, wondering if someone just opened a jar. Decided it must've been the bourbon so I took an intentional whiff and got more cinnamon. Decent spice right up front with more richness than I expected - I was prepared for a young bourbon but pleasantly surprised. More mouth forward, with a light taste lingering again mouth forward and on the sides. More alcohol burn when chomping, but a nice sweet undertone. Left with flavors of a Fall spice bread. I've had an unopened 375 ml bottle for years, but now that I can get it in a 750 outside of their gift shop I bought one to open. I'll have to check what I paid for it because it's a decent sipper.
