Wow. Creamy sweet honeysuckle nose with a hint of graham cracker and herbal note to betray its rye. Butter toffee on the palate and oh so silky smooth. A totally unique, delicious dessert that drinks waay below it’s 100 proof and only subtle hints as to the spice of its 95% rye mash. Cinnamon Toast Crunch until the gentle herbal finish that suggest curry powder (don’t worry, it works). This will be disappointing to purists but is extremely well crafted and a totally enjoyable break from the norm. Love it as an option on the shelf. A little overpriced to be potentially confused as a digestivo but I’d buy it again.
