The theme to this dram was the easiest to decide. “Punch Up at a Wedding”, also known as “No No No No No No No No” by Radiohead really says what I feel about the whole experience. The song is great, but the words fit. Sorry, @PBMichiganWolverine but at least you saved me money from trying this offering later down the road. The nose and palate had this ultra-funk. Not the good funk like from a Springbank, Ben Nevis, Pittyvaich, or Bowmore 15 Darkest even. I am talking like a three month old sweaty gym shorts kinda funk. Not cool. This might give Girvan competition with being my least favorite distillery. Well, I hope they scrap the inaugural, and completely start over. Go back to the drawing board. Not for me. For the finish, to make the taste stop, I took a HUGE swig of Laphroaig Cairdeas Fino 2018 from the bottle.

I think @Generously_Paul is the most patient reviewer in the group. I’m the least patient, most critical, and setting the bar highest. ( my direct reports say the same of me...😔).
@LeeEvolved thanks Lee ☺️
@PBMichiganWolverine @Generously_Paul - I think Paul really tries to give these things a fair shake. When I find a bad one, I jot down the main profile and see if there’s anything redeeming and then I either chug the rest or drain pour it. For the record, I think I’ve only drain poured 2-3 total. Paul is gonna tinker with it, give it space and time and pull everything he can. He’s the best reviewer of our group IMO.
@PBMichiganWolverine I got skillz son. Seriously though, I don’t know why everyone else had such a horrible experience with this one where I didn’t.
I’m reading @Generously_Paul review. How the hell did he find “jasmine, honeysuckle, etc”??! I only found month old roadkill
@Telex yeah, this was bad. In my book, worse than the Girvan. At least I was able to drink the Girvan. I kid you not, this was the first alcohol ever that made me actually gag and throw up. Something was chemically just not right.
