Decent spirit to drink. Has notes of cinnamon, spice and everything nice... burnt sugar and a very subtle uplifting citrus touch.
It may be because I’m used to drinking whisk[e]y, but I feel like this rum doesn’t taste like a 15 year old spirit. I expected it to be more “dense” and “oily”. Instead it tastes very “shallow”, “thin” and perhaps even watered down. Was kind of disappointed.
Is this how most aged rums taste (compared to whisky)?
