Bunnahabhain 2008 Mòine Bordeaux Red Wine Cask Matured

One more whisky worth calling out from Saturday’s Whisky Show in London was this new limited release from Bunnahabhain. It wasn’t on the pour list but I managed to negotiate a discrete sample from a bottle hidden under the counter. It was matured entirely in Bordeux wine casks for almost 10 years. Dark chocolate, cassis sauce, dark maple syrup, candied cherries — it’s one of those luscious dessert drams. Recommended if you can find it.

Want.... bunna is quickly moving to the top of my list - hopefully they don’t blow it and cheapen out after they gain more traction because of their outstanding quality.
@PBMichiganWolverine His whisky-fu is strong.
@PBMichiganWolverine 😊
After 2 whisky events with @Richard-ModernDrinking , I now firmly believe his superpower is getting the hidden pours behind / under those desks
