Nose: incredibly rich aroma; oak and vanilla, you can tell it's going to be quite sweet on the tongue Palate: as expected, incredibly full and rich. Dried fruits and a tad of spice add to the fullness of the flavors. I enjoyed the pour but it would not "hook me" into a Scotch addiction as it has for many. Surprisingly I believe this is my first taste of Macallan well into a decade of being a Scotch consumer. I look forward to trying their other vintages.
