Nose wasn’t easy for me to distinguish, maybe vanilla, and the initial sip seemed spicy and oaky verses fruity and sweet as described in the expert’s notes. Cinnamon and vanilla were easier to taste than raspberry and honey. Finish is moderate and leaves tongue fairly quickly. Yeah it’s good- although for the same price I’d buy Jim Beam Single Barrel or Henry McKenna 10 yr 100 proof bonded. And if you’re okay spending a bit more, then buy Baker 7yr or Wild Turkey Rare Breed.
