Bib & Tucker 6 Year Small Batch Bourbon
Bourbon — USA

Wife bought it for the cool bottle. This is a very unusual bourbon. It is thin, with more wood than char on the nose. Forward taste is sweet spice, with a sour aftertaste that leaves a pleasant linger. Later tastes are dominated by sweetness, but the sweet/sour clash remains.
This bourbon has multiple personalities. Other reviews are bimodal, with strong love/hate camps. I find myself in both. One day, a neat dram is a disaster. The next day, it is a delight. I found my most successful pours with a little ice.
If it were half the price, I'd give it three stars. I have to knock one down because is it far too expensive for what it is. The bottle *is* cool, though. I may make a desk lamp out of it.

@Prof agreed. It's not bad, but it's on the same level and similar profile to Buillet I would say. $25 max.
@BDanner Blade and Bow is one I want to pick up. She gave me the B&T early after buying and then reading bad reviews. She got scared and was afraid I’d hate it. Like I said, this isn’t bad, but I wouldn’t pay near that price for it.
My wife decided to buy me a bottle for my birthday. Before I opened the gift bag she said "The guy at the store said this was really good and you will like it". I thought to myself "Oh, God...they've pawned a bottle of Bib & Tucker off on her." Thankfully it was a bottle of Blade & Bow which I was kind of skeptical of, but really enjoy.
