I remember this is my first single malt ever tasted. It's the best introduction in the world of whisky, which I thought to be quite overrated, due to my exposure to only JB, Ballentines and Jack Daniel's. The notes of peat and wood are vibrant, there is some cherry with a pinch of brine. The overall experience was outstanding.
