As a 22yo and a total novice to whisky, this was a perfect beginners choice. To my untrained palette the flavor was complex and full but not obnoxious and aggressive like my dad's single barrel. To someone with years and years of experience I can see how it would be boring, but for me it was perfect. No need for rocks, neat is just right.
