I'm sampling a 2018 release of the single barrel neatly. These bottles are sometimes difficult to find and each barrel will vary slightly. completely worth having it on your self though.
COLOR: Deep golden honey.
NOSE: Dried apricots, marmalade, vanilla, cherry juice, there is a lot of sweet complexity to the nose.
TASTE: Coffee, brown sugar, tapioca pudding, burnt cheerios, I feel like I could spend the next 20 minutes pulling out crazy things from this barrel.
BODY: coats very well with a medium body, very well balanced indeed.
FINISH: Comes on strong and then melts like butter fading away and revealing additional flavors masked by the 100 proof up front.
FINAL THOUGHTS: Absolutely delicious and worth finding again. Its smoothness, full flavor and complexity keeps me coming back to my glass. To my bourbon brothers out there... SKOL!

I really need to throw my budget out the window and pick this up the next time I see it. I LOVE the Small Batch and agree that you could nose and taste it all day and keep finding new things. I've been known to nose the empty glass for a while after finishing a pour.
This year's releases have been flat out awesome!
