Bourbon — Kentucky, USA

On the nose I get butterscotch, nutmeg and dark fruits.
On the palate there is caramel, vanilla, and rye.
The finish is spicy pepper and oak.
Excellent value! Reminds me of a younger Eagle Rare with more spice. For this price it's suitable for mixing or neat.

Well JW when I lived in NH there was always WT101 on the shelves at every state store I went to Im surprised you cant easily find it
@ContemplativeFox. Hard to say. To be honest, they do a relatively good job of stocking a decent variety. But it appears that a lot of the selection process is driven from the highest conglomerate ownership levels. Campari group products, including Turkey, Skyy and Appleton, are seriously underrepresented. Same with Heaven Hill. On the other hand, Beam Suntory and Diageo dominate the shelves.
@BDanner. Frequently! And it gets even worse as the cold weather sets in. I survive by internet orders, and happily, I live very close to the Maine border, where I maintain a virtual mailbox. Between NH and ME, I can get bottles shipped from almost every good online site.
@jonwilkinson7309 What?! I get that state liquor authorities won't stock everything, but how did they miss WT 101?
@BDanner WT 101 is $17.79 here in the Bay Area - $35 for a handle. After reading this I think it is time to make WT 101 my daily drinker.
@ContemplativeFox I think it’s still worth the $26 it goes for here, but if it was less than $20 it would be my every day pour. And @jonwilkinson7309 , have you considered moving 😂?
@ContemplativeFox Or if you're in my area, and the state liquor authority doesn't stock it at all. :(.
This is my favorite <$20 bourbon! Well, unless you happen to be in @BDanner 's area where it costs more :(
