First, we need to understand this is not a Malt.
Consistant comparison with Malts is pointless.
The texture is very pleasant, aromas of vanilla pastry & butter are here, but leave more room to lighter floral, herbal (not brine or peat grass !) and fresh fruit.
A great option for easy sipping, adding ice, or a beautiful Rob Roy.

@Kawajiri I am sorry you didin’t like it. But saying it is a bad spirit, that is the judgmental hot mess. If it is not what you are looking for, pass. If you want to understand Scotches in general I recommend you check the oldest grain distillery it comes from (Cameronbridge) and the approach of its (very) experienced Master Distiller. Cheers.
This is an overpriced hot mess. It is young, and smells of dry erase markers, under that is some toffee notes for me this is a HARD pass. I am glad you enjoyed it, but it is by no means a good sprit. For the price I can buy things that are 1000 times better. The best part about this is the packaging.
