Delicious. The Sherry influence runs deep here.
On the nose, strawberry shortcake and fresh cream. On the palate, raspberry barley scones. On the finish, black cherries and heavy whipped cream.
My only complaint is that the whisky is thin. There is so much delightful stuff going on at the surface level, but when you look deeper, there is little to find. A thicker, more viscous mouth feel and more rich depth of flavor would make this a truly exceptional experience. Still quite lovely though.
