Nose- old furniture polish, bitter baker’s chocolate, cedar chest, real beef jerky (not Slim Jim or gas station stuff), Rod’s Thrifty Mart (my brother-in-law) smoked sausage with extra dose of smoke
Palate- serious smoke, big time wood and more wood, a hint of sweetness I can’t quite identify, BBQ burnt ends (really burnt)
Not an everyday whiskey but perfect when enjoying a big oak, pecan or mesquite fire with friends. Matter of fact anytime a unique whiskey is in order this will fit the bill.
