Bright golden color. Lots of floral and fruity notes in the aroma. The taste begins with a slightly sweet oaky flavors. Some hints of pepper in the background. The finish brings slightly bitter notes, but not overwhelming. For a 46% alcohol this Scotch isn’t overly alcohol forward. A touch of water reveal some melon and really brings out the smoke. Not an outstanding scotch, but quite drinkable. I could see it growing on me more with time.
