GlenDronach Allardice 18 Year
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland

The nose starts off a bit muted but opens up as it breathes, and is rich with raisins, sherry, cooked fruit and the faintest hints of black pepper and freshly cut grass. The richness continues into the mouth with strong, but not overpowering sherry balanced by black pepper, along with fruit cake, orange oil and a touch of brown sugar, honey and raisins. The finish is long with fading sherry sweetness, black pepper and a slight grassiness.
