This dram has the character of a Speyside whiskey that leans toward the dessert end of the spectrum. Dried fruit and citrus on the nose with honey notes bringing it all together. Super smooth taste that grows in complexity as it sits on the tongue. Perhaps some smoke and leather on the finish. Adding water moves the finish flavors up to be experienced earlier in the taste. A pleasant sip indeed.
