To me, this is the perfect expression of Scottish Whisky. A great balance of fruit, smoke, and vanilla sweetness from the Sherry casks. Rich flavor of peat, saltwater, and stone fruit. This whisky takes you right to edge of “being too much” but backs off right at the last minute and gives you a warm embrace of smoke, fruit, and the sea. Long, balanced finish gives you time to reflect on the complexity.
