This dram appears to be an opinion divider. I read the reviews and saw apple pie on the nose, yeah weirdly it does, tastes like egg nog, again check. A lot of interesting flavour profiles coming through. You get cherry and apricot liquor and caramelized peaches on the nose. Palate is oakey cough syrup but not in an initially terrible way (although as you work through it it gets a bit too much). I'm torn on this one. A bit like four roses single barrel bourbon for me. Great delivery and quality, no flaws but I couldn't drink too much of this at all and in fact as I work my way through the dram and keep writing the review I think one drams more than enough. Hmm quality 4, flavour profile 2.5. 3.25 I think.

@dubz480 Cheers :-). Yeah I think for some drams you just couldn't pay me to drink more of. Once I get a flavour profile or flaw that bugs me that's it!
Really for me the main drawback here is the price. At over $100 a bottle for the single barrel it's a poor value. At $50 I would always keep a bottle in stock. As I got thru the bottle I found it to be really drinkable and it was in heavy rotation for sure! Great review as always! Cheers!
@PBMichiganWolverine Yeah a lot of bourbons have those dr pepper cherry / cough syrup thing going on and I just struggle to enjoy no matter how great it's crafted.
You’re right —I’ve read reviews on this one as either really good, or not so much. Probably depends on individualistic taste
