Very fruity and bit salty nose. Prune, grape and cinnamon are highly presents. A bit of vanilla oaky smells from the American cask as well. First taste lets the Sherry Cask exploits all it's flavors. Later tastes are from the American oak so it is a very good balanced mix. Peppered finish. Adding water the smell dissapers a bit and new notes of lavanda. At the palate it's roughly the same but a bit more oily and slightly less peppered. Definitely one of my favorite whisky so far
