Nose: wine, smoke First sip: spicy, smokey and salty. Or rather in the other way around. Strong enough to give you a little punch but not much to knock you out at the beginning of the evening. After a few sips, the dram becomes like a pastry on the tongue. Sweeter and rounder. Adding water drops reveals a nice cherry smell. The whisky becomes even saltier. Nothing special comes after it. Finish: liquor and slightly peppery.

Nose: sherry of course dark honey and fruits (cranberries, banana and apple). On the palm we can sens a very light smoked oak. All in all, very smooth, like a dessert. Mouth: first sip round and oily. Vanilla toffee and caramel. Adding water drops doesn't bring other flavors. But intensifies the same The finish is lighter and get soft on the tongue

Nose reminds me of suppository smell, smokey one. Hidden notes of pears or even to fudge. Mouth. Little peppery, vanilla and caramel. Has a crumbly feeling. Adding water drops makes it rounder, softer and tear off this crumbly feeling. Finish leaves the caramelized taste on the tongue, and the mouth smokey though it was not the envelope that shipped the whole dram. Easy to drink. Not too much of my taste but doesn't makes it a bad one to my opinion

Nose: good smells, soft yet vivace. At very first smokey then liquorosi. Typical young aged dram finished in sherry. Mouth: first sip is nuts and smokey taste salty finish. Then spices and salts get the overall, bringing honey and chocolate (light). Chocolate gets stronger with time and caramelized with that. Salt and smoke still dominate. Finish: refreshing not the usual dry tongue feeling. Banana taste on the very last sip All in One it is a good whisky. Good for first encounter more with smoke than sherry actually (contrary to what is highlighted on the box). Complete but not too complex. Simple and enjoyable.

Glen Scotia 11 Year Sherry Double Cask Finish
Single Malt — Campbeltown, Scotland
Reviewed December 25, 2021Nose: soft smell. Discret. Oily, malty smell sweet. Bit acidulous apple like. Fist sip: explosion of spice. Salty. Mouth: oily and white rum-ish tastes, soft as a babbà. Too complex for me. Finish: like grapes -
Nose: on palm or caps citrus very sweet. Caramelized. Bananas very soft and of course vanilla. In glass the alcohol is quite present. Like a schnapps. Records its ABV. First sip: caramelized. Hot on an empty stomach. Dried fruits notes are present at the end. Along with milk chocolate and an overall little oily feeling to curve the whole. Latter tastes: gets a bit smoky and salty. Particular dram for the begging. Ending gets more common. Less salty than an Oban 14 but same idea for the finish.
