Nose... Because the wheat is so clean and sweet it leaves room for subtleties like apples, pears, and fresh wood, along with a slightly nutty finish.
Appearance... A fine balance between amber and copper, with plenty of rich color from time will spent in the barrel.
Taste... Initially it is so so candied sweet, not dominant, just rich and utterly creamy. Also coming across is fruit, particularly citrus and pears. On the back end is a rich cocoa and nutty note, finally finishing with an established warmth that lasts...
Overall, this is extraordinary for the price. The fact that it comes with a cap and not a cork is so so funny. This whiskey could easily sell for $40 or more but the fact that it didn't isn't what makes this fantastic, it's the flavor they've bottled up. Such a great bargain, one of the best, not just in whiskey, but in life in general...
