Tastes like a big brother to Ardbeg 10. Lots of lemon. A little water actually does something amazing to this and I never usually water down. When I brought it to around 46% it tastes so close to one of my favorite Japanese whiskies, Hakushu 12 year. I start getting the pear and light peat. That makes me very happy since the Hakushu is hard to find now and I am down to half a bottle. So, I am now pleasantly surprised. My new favorite Islay, especially bottled at 50%.
